Allan specializes in the practice of international intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on cross-border IP matters between China and the United States. He has represented clients ranging from individuals and startups to large multinational companies seeking to assert or defend their intellectual property rights. Allan represents and counsels clients regarding the prosecution, litigation, licensing and monetizing of their patent and trademark assets.

Allan has extensive experience in patent and trademark prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, with particular proficiency in navigating complex USPTO procedures and overcoming challenging office actions. His technical background, which includes experience as a computer systems analyst at a major international banking institution, provides valuable insight when counseling clients on software and technology-related IP matters. Prior to joining Key Kesan Dallmann, PLLC, Allan served as in-house counsel for a technology company, where he managed their intellectual property portfolio.
